Mira Falardeau is a comic artist, publisher and specialist from Quebec. She began contributing to several feminist comics since 1975, such as Chatelaine, La Vie en Rose, Heresies and Les Cahiers de la Femme. She founded the Éditions Falardeau, where she published her own work, but also by her spouse André-Philippe Côté, Jean-François Bergeron (Djief) and Marc Auger. She made a comic adaptation of the theatrical play 'La Mercière Assassinée' by Anne Hébert and Jean-Marc Saint-Denis. She is also the author of several comics studies, such as 'La Bande Dessinée au Québec', 'Humour Visuel: Pour Une Analyse des Images Comiques', and La Bande Dessinée Faite par les Femmes en France et au Québec'.
