Jean-Jacques Sanchez's first album was 'Le Maître des Cieux' (May 2001), published at Pointe Noire. In this album, he gave his own vision on Genesis. Sanchez finds his inspiration in the work of Goscinny and Uderzo, but also Moebius. He has studied graphic arts and enjoys reading fantasy comics, cinema and the Japanese graphic culture.
