Fiel van der Veen is a Dutch graphic designer and illustrator. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arnhem, and has made illustrations for the work of Willem Wilmink, Paul Biegel, Jan Terlouw and Bies van Ede. Besides illustrations for (children's) books, he has also made drawings for annual reports, flyers and papers. In 1972, he illustrated the comic story 'De Thuiskomst van Theo Kraat', written by writer/politician Jan Terlouw and was a publication of the political party D'66.
