Huibert Vet (Huibert Arnoldus de Vet) was a Dutch comic artist and illustrator, born in 1920 in Leiden. During World War II, he falsified identity cards and after the War, he made comics and illustrations for Het Vrije Volk, De Groene Amsterdammer and the predecessor of the railway magazine Tussen de Rails. His comic strip 'De Drie Dommeldorpers' was published in the local newspaper Leidsch Dagblad between May and September 1946.

For Het Vrije Volk, Vet illustrated the comic 'Meneer Sim Gaat naar Monstruosië' with a text by D.B.J. van Eyk in 1946-47. In 1946, he drew 'De held van het Avondland' for De Groene Amsterdammer, written by Bert and Henriette van Eyk.
He was a productive artist for advertisements for the Diergaarde Blijdorp zoo and the V&D department stores, among other clients. He also made 'Boffie en de Verdwenen Koffie', a comic story starring the mascot of grocery store Albert Heijn's coffee brand, in six booklets in 1947. Later on, he was occupied with filters for color photography. He passed away in Viersen, Germany, in April 1975.
