Bill Vigoda studied at the Commercial Art Studios in New York City, and served an artist for Archie Publications from the early 1940s until his death in 1973. He wrote scripts and drew art for many 'Archie' stories, and on several other features, including 'The Black Hood', 'Roy, the Super Boy', 'Wilbur', Flying Dragons', 'Dusty', 'The Shield' and 'Wizard'. Vigoda has also done advertisement art. He was the brother of actor Abe Vigoda (1921-2016), best-known as Tessio in 'The Godfather I' and Fish in the TV show 'Barney Miller'.
