HKO, Menaces sur Hong Kong, by Séra
'HKO, Menaces sur Hong Kong'.

Phoussera Ing, better known as Séra, was born in 1961 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In 1975, when the Red Khmer of dictator Pol Pot took power in Cambodia, Séra and his mother fled to France. In 1979, his first short story was published in the magazine Circus. During the 1980s, he took several art studies in his new home country.  Between 1989 to 1991, he created 'Comment Chuchote et Crie le Vent' and 'Port Massembo', which unfortunately have never been published.

Séra wasn't discouraged and created 'La Vespasienne' in 1993, a short story published in the Japanese magazine Morning, followed in 1995 by 'Retour de Soleil'. The same year, he created 'Impasse et Rouge', about the destiny of the child soldier Snoul during the Cambodian War. Around this time, he returned to his native country for the first time since 1975, accompanied by photographer Marc Domage.

After his return, Séra created two stories for P.L.G. and two stories for the collective album 'Alfred Hitchcock'. In 1997, he started his series 'HKO' in (À Suivre). In 2006, Séra contributed to the second volume of the horror saga 'Sur Les Traces de Dracula: Vlad L' Empaleur' (Casterman, 2006), a biopic about Romanian count Vlad Tepes, A.K.A. Vlad II Drakul, scripted by Yves H..  The other two installments were drawn by Yves H.'s father, Hermann, and by Dany
